City Lights furnished apartment is located in Toronto’s exclusive Pier 27 Development allowing guests to experience life by the lake. Unlike anything ever seen before this architectural masterpiece features 10 foot floor to ceiling windows and a stunning unparalleled view the city’s skyline.

The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and is designed with contemporary furniture from Urban Barn. The stylish nightstands help organize the bedroom and offer lots of storage for guests. The room is also equipped with blackout blinds and drapes overtop of the blinds allowing guests to enjoy a lazy day in with different ambient lighting options.

The bathroom is finished with marble flooring and a stone countertop creating a simplistic and clean look. Designed with a tub and shower combination, the bathroom has a rare large frosted window allowing guests to have a bright morning shower.

The large living area benefits the most from the suite’s windows floor to ceiling windows. Encouraging natural light to flow into the suite, guests can relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the city’s view. The windows are perforated with roller blinds enabling privacy if necessary. The room also contains cable TV, comfortable couch, a dining space that can seat 4 and a kitchen with high end Miele appliances.

The kitchen appliances include a full sized fridge, a gas stove for gourmet cooking, oven, dishwasher and microwave. In the foyer, there is also a full-sized front load clothes washer and dryer.

The Neighbourhood

Located at the foot of Yonge Street, this furnished apartment is accessible to everything the city has to offer. Guests can walk 5 minutes to access Union station; the city’s central hub to hop on the GO Train, TTC, Via Rail or the Greyhound.  If you’re looking for a morning run, the Lakeshore Waterfront Trail is great for running and biking in the summer.

The Toronto Island Ferry is also located just around the corner too if you’re looking to visit Toronto Island which has great picnic areas, recreational activities and Centre Island if you’re looking for a good getaway from the busy city life.

Visitors can rent bikes on Centre Island by the hour (standard, tandem and quad cycles) and bike through trails across the island. During the summer months, canoe’s or kayak’s are available for rent from the boat rental for some adventure.

On Centre Island, head over to Centreville Amusement Park to enjoy a fun-filled day on the Ferris wheel, water slide and miniature golf course. There are beaches on the island’s south side where guests can relax either under the sun or in the shade. Additional facilities include picnic areas with fire pits,  volleyball courts, two baseball diamonds and wading pools.

There are numerous concession stands throughout the island, as well as restaurants such as the Shopsy’s Island Deli Bar and Grilll, the Carousel Café near Centreville, and the Rectory Café, tucked in off the boardwalk near Ward’s Island.

The Building

Pier 27 features 3 adjacent buildings, has a has a private community feel and stunning amenities. The extended stay suite has multiple gyms in each building and is equipped with cardio and weight lifting equipment. Pier 27 also contains a beautiful yoga studio if your looking to squeeze in a practice after a hard days work. There is also an outdoor pool located on a private terrace overlooking the lake and covered by beautiful greenery. During the winter months guests can enjoy a good swim in the infinite pool located on the amenities floor.
